Sadatan is closely associated with the Chitnavis Trust, Nagpur for conducting a number of social welfare projects. We support a number of initiatives for micro-entrepreneurs from unpriviledged communities. Also sponsor the initiatives of the Trust for imparting knowledge and skill training to women, and differently abled youth etc. One recent initiative has been the ‘Sundari Project’ wherein over 150 women have been trained in beauty culture & entrepreneurship and are today either self employed or are working in the beauty business.
We are also planning to set up a herbs procurement unit, by tying up with local farmers and tribals from the hilly regions of Central India. We can train them in herbs cultivation and ensure they learn how to cultivate high quality herbs and earn profits throughout the year, in addition ensuring food and nutrition security for their families.
